TANGO is a fun and playful brand for an internal communications app designed to get all of the employees that are not on the innovation team the ability to contribute ideas. From brand, marketing, supply chain, delivery, everyone has an idea. However, there was no repository to collect these ideas, review them, or ask questions to the leadership. So the app became two fold. Making a large corporation more effective by connecting all of the parts, like tangrams, TANGO was born.
I was brought on to help with some icons but it quickly turned into a consultation with an outside agency, The App Garden in the UK. The goals of the app were muddled and the type was too small. So we came up with a strategy and a rhythm through the app. This is an early beta.
